You likely already have most, if not all the things you need at home to take the sample safely and then simply post it to the lab, saving money. You won’t need any special kits sent out to you, simply pay below for the lab test, follow the instructions that we send you and send the sample to the lab. It only takes a few minutes.

Why you need to test for Asbestos:
Some buildings constructed before 1990 contain asbestos in their various building materials. Occasionally, vermiculite, which was used in the construction of popcorn ceilings, also contains asbestos. You can’t visually check for asbestos. A proper, accredited microscopic examination needs to be conducted to effectively confirm or deny the presence of asbestos.
Before commencing work on texture ceilings, we need a lab report to ensure there is no asbestos contained within them. This is for our safety and yours. Simply order your NATA Accredited Asbestos Test and send in your sample and you will have your results within the next few days. You will receive the results directly from the lab. The laboratory is fully accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) in accordance with the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025.
How it works:

Once your payment is received, we will email the instructions and the Chain of Custody form that must be sent with your sample. No need for special test kits or tools, as you likely already have everything you need at home. The payment covers the cost of an asbestos test at a reputable independent laboratory. Simply forward your sample to the lab with the completed form we send you and wait for your results! It can’t be any simpler.
What can be tested?
Any building material or product that you are concerned about can be tested. For popcorn ceilings, a sample of the popcorn ceiling itself needs to be acquired. Simply follow the process sent to you after payment to acquire the textured ceiling sample. You can also provide samples of other materials if you want to find out if they contain asbestos, whether your having your ceiling resurfaced or not.
